Others' Feedback:

Several maintainers of Sangres peak pages at SummitPost.org have offered helpful advice and corrections. Here are comments from three of them:

“Thank you very much for directing me to that panorama. Crossing into the Wet Mountain Valley on highway 69 always delivered a similiar view and I always wanted to stop and photograph it. Anyway I look forward to seeing more of Richard Carson's work.” Jon B.

“The site and the panorama look great!

It looks like the site is in development stage. For climbers, it would be useful as a general reference for the area. The photo would be especially useful for those who want to know where the Sangre peaks are in relation to one another.” Alan

“We climbers love mountain pictures, so panos are always nice to look at. And some of us, such as myself, no longer like to camp out due to arthritic necks and other maladies of middle age, so perhaps your links to lodgings would be quite helpful.” Aaron J.
“I wrote to thank you for the beautiful photography of a remote part of the state. Perhaps its status should remain unnoticed. I greatly enjoyed being able to toggle the names of the various peaks on and off. What a view! I was able to share it with e-mail buddies across the nation and all remarked on what a beautiful place Colorado must be to have mountains like that that no one has ever heard of.” John P.
“The picture looks good to me. Very accurate as far as I can tell. The 'M' in 'Marble Caves' is hovering just above Spanish Gulch which contains Marble Cave (also known as Spanish Cave or Caverna del Oro) and a few others. So I'd say that was pretty well dead on. And I've seen that photograph of Richard's quite often when in Westcliffe... it makes a very nice web page indeed! I've got a few of Richard's prints on my walls as well. My wife and I usually stop in and look around in his gallery and shoot the breeze when we're up there.

Nice site! And always a pleasure to talk to another Colorado enthusiast.” Jack M.
“Nice site.... Richard, it was nice to meet you last week. I will separately investigate the archival quality of producing a large format print of your panorama, for window display. Cheers.” Curt G.
“I am very impressed with the site.  I have e-mailed the link to many of my friends and will continue to do so.  It should have an impact on people looking for a great community to visit.” Don Bishop, www.CusterCountyHomes.com
